  3. Thank you Léa for your beautiful photos and words. You make a special ambience, soft and full of stories. I enjoy that very much!
I recognise the lamp, both Annie and I have it. Great idea to add another colour to it. (I didn´t change the color but I´ve added swarowsky crystals on mine ;-)) We (A. and I)both had problems with this lamp though, the bulbs gets dark and burn out after only a few minutes, maybe you know why?
Wish you a nice week too!
Love, Susanne (Miniature dreams & Petit Brocante)

  5. Thank you very much, Ingrid, Claudia and Susanne. <3

Dear Susanne, for now I have not had any problems with the lamps of the wall, but if they turn black after a few minutes, then there is a "court-circuit" (Google translation is "short circuit", but I'm not sure it's the good word) with the wires.

This may be due to several reasons, but the first is to know with what kind of glue you pasted lights to the wall? Did you use a solvent glue? Solvent glues gnaw electrical ducts and wires of copper that are inside (and which constitute the "+" and the "-") if they are touching, this is a "court-circuit, this may burn the lamps.

I'll see if mine are longer (for now, they were lit for about an hour this afternoon).

  8. Thanks for the explanation Leá, I didn´t do anything to the lamps, when I bought them (from a danish shop) they had a piece of card board on the back with a piece of self adhesive tape, which I used for hanging them on the wall. I think there must be some kind of construction error that makes the short circuit..

  10. Everything is looking wonderful Lea, you have been very busy since I last visited. I am particularly interested to see the tiles on the kitchen floor in the previous post. I have been thinking about flooring for my French apartment project. I didn't want to use wood on the kitchen floor and I didn't think terracotta tiles quite right in this situation. Since seeing your tiles I've done some research on old French floor tiles and found some nice designs. Thanks for the idea!

And thanks so much for your comment on my blog, especially your kind words about the French facade. I'm very pleased to know it has an authentic appearance. And it's very interesting that you think the Latin Quarter is an appropriate location, in my imagination it is located in Montmatre but maybe Emily will have to move :)

  12. Merci, Catherine, thanks to all for your comments. <3

Well, Norma, the facade looks like those we see on the side of the left bank, or on the Île Saint-Louis, but it could also be in Montmartre (Montmartre to say, the buildings are less , chic ... but no less charming).

I hope you find the floor that suits you well ... see you soon.
