Le salon - La cheminée en pierre
Cela me sert principalement à repérer les emplacements des moulures à faire aux murs. La photo de gauche ayant été faite, hier soir, j'avais également mis en situation le côté fenêtre pour déterminer les gabarits à couvrir, ainsi que la longueur des (futures) poutres du plafond. |
Ici, c'est la fabrication du sol au niveau de la cheminée. Il est fait d'une dalle imitation pierre assortie à la cheminée, sur un morceau de bristol et de tomettes (réalisées également en bristol et peinture suivant la technique de la page 20 de mon livre).
Il va rester à poser le joint, à vieillir le tout et à fixer au sol, sous la cheminée.
À présent, je peux envisager et passer à la finition des murs. C'est la prochaine étape. À très vite...

RépondreSupprimerThe silver of the mirror looks very aged! I'm intrigued with the width of the floor boards - I'm torn between the medium and the large for my house - I think they used planks (with no tongue and grooving) as floorboards. It's really taking shape Lea! Terryx
